Situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic at 62°00'N, the Faroe Islands lie northwest of Scotland and halfway between Iceland and Norway.

The first and the last picture were made from the place where the army base is. When I was here last time, I met no one. It was Sunday. Are soldiers still living here?
PS. View of Kaldbaksfjørður is one of the most exciting on Faroes.
I think there are some soldiers there, no more than 10 I think.
Beautiful photos. I would love to visit the Faroe islands, they seem so much more peaceful than hectic London.
